Covid 19 Health and Safety Procedure

If you or anyone accompanying you to your photography session, has had a fever, or any other symptoms such as coughs, sickness or vomiting, or has been in contact with anyone displaying Covid-19 symptoms, suspected of having Covid-19, or has had a Covid-19 positive test result at least 24 hours before their session, please contact me immediately to reschedule your shoot. This is to ensure we all stay safe.

Here are some of steps I have put in place at the studio:

1. Studio cleaning policy

Before and after every studio session, the studio is deep cleaned by using disinfectant and steam cleaning. All surfaces that could be touched and all props used are sanitised. The studio will be aired thoroughly to minimise any droplets in the air.

2. Time between sessions

At least 1 hour will be left between sessions to enable a deep clean of all surfaces and accessories to take place and to ensure there is no contact between customers arriving and leaving the premises.  It is requested that shoes are removed upon arrival and hands are thoroughly sanitised (hand gel station provided).

3. Self monitoring

I will continually monitor my own temperature and health before coming into the studio and shall wear a mask, should I deem it necessary and/or appropriate.  Please ensure you check your temperature (and anyone accompanying you to your studio session) before travelling to your appointment at my studio. As per NHS guidelines, if:

• your chest or back feel hotter than usual

• you have other symptoms, such as shivering (chills), sweating or warm, red skin

• a thermometer says your temperature is 38C or above,

then please contact me as soon as possible to rebook your session. Your temperature will also be taken upon arrival and if 38C or above is read, then I will not be able to carry out your booking.

4. Hand washing

After using the toilet, please use antibacterial wipes provided, wash hands for at least 20 seconds and use the paper towels provided to dry your hands.

5. Food and Drinks

No food may be consumed throughout your session and for time being, no drinks can be offered, so please bring your own water bottles.

6. Social distancing

I shall adhere to the 2m social distancing advice at all times where possible, both in the studio and on location. This includes shaking hands and moving/adjusting hair or clothes. Parents may be asked to help move their children as requested. During the portrait session, instructions to the clients will be given from the distance stipulated by and in accordance with the social distancing rules.

Due to the restrictions imposed by social distancing, it may not be appropriate to offer usual studio sessions and poses.
